Poroshenko and Putin May Meet Tet-a-Tete in Minsk, Kremlin Says

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko may hold a separate meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Minsk.

This was stated by press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Censor.NET reports with reference to BBC.

"We do not exclude that such a meeting could take place," Peskov told reporters.

According to him, the meeting will, most likely, focus on the Ukrainian crisis, the flow of refugees, issues related to humanitarian assistance.

The leaders may also discuss "bilateral relations between Russia and Ukraine ... in light of the Kyiv signing the Association Agreement with the EU," Peskov said.

On August 26 Minsk will host a meeting of the heads of the Customs Union, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and representatives of the European Commission, which will be attended by Vladimir Putin.
