Troops of North Operational Command Freed 9 More Ukrainian Troops from Terrorists. PHOTO

Forces of the North Operational Command headed by Lieutenant-General Igor Kolesnik that perform ATO tasks successfully carried out the operation to liberate 9 Ukrainian servicemen.

Among those freed, there are troops of different ranks - from lieutenant colonel to soldier, Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

Owing to the interaction in regard to staff and members of the military police of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which act in the interests of operational command, nine of our soldiers who were held hostage from several days to two months, have been released.

As noted by Lieutenant General Ihor Kolesnik: "For us, the release of our subordinates is a matter of honor, there is nothing more valuable than the lives and health of the personnel."

In the near future these real sons of the Ukrainian people will be sent home, where they will be met by relatives and friends.
