NSDC: Russian Troops Continue Concentrating Near Ukrainian Border

The National Security Council states that the Russian troops, despite the announcement of the end of the exercises, remain deployed at the border with Ukraine.

This was stated by the National Security Council representative Andrii Lysenko at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

"We observed the beginning of the movement of Russian troops which were based along the Ukrainian-Russian border in the territory of the Russian Federation. They allegedly took part in military exercises. However, we cannot confirm that all of them were withdrawn back to their home bases," he said.

"Most of them are still in place," Lysenko said.
