As reported by Censor.NET citing the update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 18, the Russian invaders fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds 25 times of which two attacks were committed with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
Ukrainian military personnel came under fire of 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, armament of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
The Russian-occupation troops attacked the government forces deployed near Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Pisky, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
Defenders of Luhanske village, the Svitlodarsk section of the forefront, were extensively barraged with 120-mm and 82-mm mortar shells.
Besides, the invaders fired upon the Ukrainian military deployed in the vicinity of Krymske village at the Luhansk section of the frontline from armament of infantry fighting vehicles twice.
"Two JFO members were killed in action over the past day and one more soldier received minor combat injuries," the casualty report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate three invaders eliminated and five more wounded in backfire yesterday.
Today, Sept. 19, the enemy employed grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against defenders of Troitske (Luhansk direction), Berezove (Donetsk direction), and Lebedynske (Mariupol) inflicting no casualties on the Ukrainian soldiers.
