"Signals intelligence detected a hostile unmanned aerial vehicle, presumably Orlan-10, at about 9:49 a.m. on Nov. 19. The enemy drone was collecting intelligence along the Bakhmut-Kostiantynivka-Ocheretyne route," the JFO headquarters press center said in a statement, Censor.NET reports.
According to the agency, after the air defense radar located the drone around 12:20 p.m., the target was destroyed by the air defense unit of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine taking part in the Joint Forces Operation.
"Judging by the wreckage and distinctive parachute with a serial number on it, it was the Orlan-10 UAV manufactured by the Russian Federation," the JFO press center noted.
