Fighting Resumes in Donetsk. Shootings and Volleys Heard in All Districts

First half of the day Monday was rather quiet in Donetsk. As of 06:30 p.m., the situation became tense: the sounds of single shots from heavy guns and series of salvos can be heard in all parts of the city, as reported by residents.

This is stated by the press service of the Donetsk City Council, Censor.NET reports.

The public utilities of the city continue to conduct emergency repairs.

DTEK Donetskoblenergo (regional power distribution company) teams restored power supply to 14 five-storey buildings in Oktiabrskyi district. A boiler station and over 300 homes have been connected to the power supply at Marshala Zhukova str. in the Kuibyshev district.

Over the weekend, the teams of Donetsk water service eliminated 68 emergency situations at water supply networks and 83 on sewer networks. As of Nov. 3, dispatchers of the water service registered 111 reports of water supply networks and sewerage emergencies.

On Nov. 3, 2,566 consumers in Donetsk remain without gas supply, including 5 apartment blocks, 1,834 private houses, and 25 enterprises.
