"The entry into the Poltava region shall be closed for all modes of transport starting from 2 p.m., Dec. 26, due to traffic breakdown," the Ukraine's Ukravtodor State Road Agency said on social media, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, traffic congestion has already been dealt with on R-42 Lubny-Myrhorod-Opishnia and T-17-16 Khorol-Semenivka-Kremenchuk highways. Challenges remain on M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv and H-08 Boryspil-Dnipro-Zaporizhzhia-Mariupol highways
The drivers are asked to temporarily refrain from long trips and be especially careful and attentive on the road given the adverse weather conditions.
