Negotiations About Meeting in Minsk on Situation in Donbas Not Carried - Russian Foreign Ministry

The negotiations on the next meeting of the contact group in Minsk on the situation in the Donbas are not yet underway.

Secretary of State, Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin announced, Censor.NET reports citing RBK.

It was reported earlier that the 'Supreme Council' 'deputy' Denis Pushilin would represent the self-proclaimed 'Donetsk People's Republic' in future negotiations. He also said that the 'DPR government' was preparing a new edition of the Minsk protocol. The next meeting will take place not earlier than in 12-14 days, according to forecasts of the 'negotiator'.

Meanwhile, only two meetings of the contact group were held in Minsk on Sept. 5 and 20. Their most important reached bargains were the ceasefire and the exchange of prisoners in the format of "all for all".
