France Blocked Access on Mistral Board for Russian Sailors - Media

A Russian Navy ship’s company was denied access on board the Mistral helicopter carrier Monday, which is now in the port of Saint-Nazaire.

Ouest France informed, Censor.NET reports citing Gordon.

The Russian Federation Navy officers and crew were in France to prepare the Mistral for sending to Russia. However, they are no longer allowed on board from Nov. 17.

700 Russian sailors totally are located in Saint-Nazaire. They have arrived there in June.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of France said that he saw no reason to hand the Mistral over to Russia.
