"Normandy Four" agreed on cease-fire effective Feb. 15 - Putin

Russia's President Vladimir Putin addressed media after almost 16-hour talks on Ukraine in the 'Normandy format.'


"The Normandy Four agreed on ceasing fire effective 00:00 Feb. 15," Russia's President Vladimir Putin said, Censor.NET reports citing TASS.

"Despite all the difficulties of the negotiations process, we have agreed on the most important," he said to journalists.

The leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France, and Germany have talked on the Ukrainian settlement all night. In the last hours, they were joined by Heidi Tagliavini, the special representative of the OSCE Chairmanship in the Contact group on settling the situation in Ukraine.
