U.S. expands sanctions against Russia

US updated sanction lists by a number of businesses and individuals.

This time, sectoral sanctions hit affiliates of Vnesheconombank (VEB) and Rosneft. According to the US Treasury statement, the following entities have been added on the sectoral sanctions list: Belvnesheconombank, Russian Direct Investment Fund Management Company, EXIAR, Globex Bank, VEB Leasing, VEB Capital, Sviaz-Bank, RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Rosneft Trading, etc.

The "black list" (Specially Designated Nationals List, SDN) has also been updated by some individuals, in particular, Roman Rotenberg - the son of a businessman Boris Rotenberg, a board member of the Continental Hockey League.

According to Dozhd TV channel, 12 people have been put on the list with the eldest son of Viktor Yanukovych Oleksandr being among them.
