Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says Washington refused to discuss the situation in Syria with the Russian delegation.

Censor.NET reports citing Gazeta.Ru.

"We have addressed the Americans with a proposal, announced yesterday by Vladimir Putin to the public, to send a delegation of military experts to Moscow to agree on a number of joint steps, after which we would be ready to send a high delegation led by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Washington. Today we have been told it is not possible to send the delegation to Moscow as well as to receive the delegation in Washington," Lavrov said.
