Poroshenko called on EU leaders to extend sanctions against Russia

During the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, President Poroshenko held short meetings with presidents of Austria, Latvia, Romania and prime ministers of Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Slovakia and Greece.

The president urged the heads of state to extend sanctions against Russia due to its non-fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

Another topic of the conversations was provision of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians.

Before that, the president had negotiations with the prime minister of Vietnam and the president of Finland. He also met with the newly elected president of Argentina, whom Poroshenko congratulated on taking office.
