Elections in integrated communities should be organized brilliantly, - Poroshenko

First local elections in 143 integrated communities scheduled for Dec. 18 should be organized brilliantly.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his working visit to the Zhytomyr region, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"We did our best to allow communities that decided to integrate holding elections as soon as possible. The upcoming elections will be held in December. Everything should be done to organize them brilliantly. Because after the integration of territorial communities every resident of a community should be able to feel how much more resources are now available to the community," Poroshenko said.

Earlier, the Central Election Committee scheduled integrated community vote for Dec. 11, 2016. By the end of the year, Ukraine will see 368 integrated territorial communities. The Cabinet intends to allocate additional funds for CEC to hold the elections.
