This was announced by Defense Ministry speaker on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.
"Over the past 24-hour period, unfortunately, two Ukrainian military were killed, 14 our fighters were wounded, and six traumatized in combat. Both fighters, a soldier and an officer, were killed in yesterday's morning assault upon Avdiivka," the ATO spokesperson said.
Motuzianyk also said that one military was wounded near Popasna, four near Butivka mine positions. The latter came under heavy enemy fire from cannons and mortars.
"The rest of the wounded and traumatized were in Avdiivka," he said.
