Russian troops attacked Ukraine positions in Donbas 77 times yesterday, used 122 mm artillery, mortars, tanks, - Staff

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation area remains unquiet but controlled by Ukraine's Armed Forces.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press office on its Facebook page.

"Over the past 24-hour period, Russian terrorist troops attacked Ukraine's defenders' positions 77 times," the report reads.

In Mariupol direction, ATO forces' strongholds near Novotroitske came under grenade launcher, IFV weapon, and 120 mm mortar fire. Positions at Vodiane were shelled from 122 mm artillery systems and 120 mm mortars. Defenses at Krasnohorivka and Marinka were shelled with mortars, at Hnutove - with SPGs and machine guns, at Shyrokyne - with IFV weapon and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, 122 mm artillery and mortars shelled Ukraine's position near Troitske. Avdiivka and Butivka mine defenders came under mortar and 122 mm artillery systems fire, with a tank joining them later. Positions at Kamianka were shelled with 120 mm mortars. Zaitseve and Nevelske were impacted from SPGs and 82 mm mortars. In Luhanske village area an IFV weapon was firing, and Pisky area was impacted with 82 mm mortars.

In Luhansk direction, 120 mm mortars of the Russians shelled Ukrainian positions at Krymske. Lobacheve defenses came under 82 mm mortar fire. An SPG and small arms operated at Novozvanivka area, Novooleksandrivka came under mortar and large caliber machine gun fire.

As reported, on March 15 Russian militants attacked Ukraine's positions 91 times, wounded four fighters.
