The way that the weapons are located confirm the hypothesis that this "shooting range" is used as an experiment field of the Russian Federation occupation troops on shelling of civilians, in order to whip up panics and aggression among the locals.
Images from the shooting range have been presented by Russian mercenary from Novosibirsk, Ivan Petrovich Malyugin, who has been fighting in the Donbas war for over a year now.
The image below shows mercenaries' training in one of the working spaces, where Russian terrorists also hide their military equipment.
The shooting range.
The exact location of one of the photos can be seen on the map.
Below is the image of the Chumakovska mine's dirt pile (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/72757795).
The mortars are directed at the dirt pile, behind which Donetsk city is situated. The shooting range has a very convenient location for conducting "training" against Donetsk.
The map screenshot is presented below, Donetsk city being to the northwest from the shooting range, shown in red square.
