Glory to Ukraine, Glory to Canada! - PM Trudeau welcomes Ukrainian team at Invictus Games in Toronto. VIDEO

Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau participated in the welcome ceremony for the Ukrainian team at Invictus Games in Toronto.

Trudeau arrived at the ceremony together with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who is currently on his trip to Canada, Censor.NET reports citing Military TV of Ukraine.

This is the first time that the Ukrainian team is participating in Invictus Games.

Invictus Games are an international sports competition, Paralympic-style, established by Prince Harry of Wales in 2014. The competition is set for veterans and military with disabilities.

Ukraine gained the right to participate in the Games for the first time in 2017 as a country that takes part in numerous military training, U.N. peacekeeping missions, and whose military have significant war experience in the ATO (anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas).

15 Ukrainian team members will compete in track and field, power lifting, swimming, archery, and biking.
